The hoosier is 22lbs vs 31lbs for the mt and a tire made exclusively for the drag strip which works for me since i change wheels for the street/drag strip any way. Comparing regular hoosier dr and mt dr on mine, 255/50×16, the hoosier has a much much softer sidewall, and in general is a far lighter tyre. I've Ran The 275/60/15 Et Street Radial Pro's, The 275/60/15 Et Street Radial R's, And The 26X8.5 Pro Drag Radials On My 1000Rwhp+ Mustang And All Work Great, But.
